Membership
People seeking golfing or social membership are most welcome to apply.
Chislehurst is a traditional members' club with excellent facilities. Seven or five day memberships are available for golf.
Temporary Membership can be offered to those moving into the area, who are unable to find sponsors for their membership applications, to enable them to play and get to know other members.
Both the Men's and Ladies' sections have full golfing calendars for social and competitive golf. There are plenty of mixed competitions which are well supported. The men have a "turn up and play" 4 ball system on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings specifically to enable members to vary their golfing partnerships and meet other members. We have no need for, and consequently do not operate, any system of reserved tee-off times for social golf.
There is a Bridge Club and there are many social functions organised by an ever-changing Entertainments Committee. These range from Summer and New Year's Eve Balls to Race Nights. They are not organised as fund-raisers but to provide entertainment. Consequently they are well supported by a wide section of the membership. At most events Members are encouraged to bring guests. There is also a monthly club Night, just to encourage members to get together informally.
Chislehurst Golf Club is 'one club', with both men and women enjoying full playing rights.
